About me...
From as early as I can remember I have loved to cook and bake. Some of my earliest, and best, memories are of being in the kitchen with my grandmother as she let me "stir" whatever was on the stove for dinner. As I grew older I became the official baker of the house, and baked cookies and cakes for my family. 
When I got married and had children of my own, one of my dreams was that I would always be able to make them a fantastic birthday cake of whatever they wanted....though some of my initial tries were sort of "hit-or-miss", I have really enjoyed the challenge of figuring out how to do whatever it is they want each year. After a couple of years, I began getting requests from friends to do cakes for their children, and have expanded to do cakes for wedding, bridal, and baby showers, weddings, anniversaries, and all sorts of other occasions! I love to see the look on the face of the person ordering the cake when they see their cake for the first time--it is usually one of awe, and that just tickles me to death!
